Doug Varone

For 40 years, Doug Varone and Dancers has perfected the art of embodying emotional depth and humanity through Varone’s dynamic and emotionally resonant works, which have been performed in 45 states and across the world. During the week of July 7-12, 2025, Varone and company will be part of the Department of Dance’s Holistic Approaches to Transformative Choreography (HATCH) initiative, where they will workshop a new piece. Then, in November, Doug Varone and Dancers will return to Ohio State. During a performance at the Wexner Center for the Arts on Nov. 21, they will be joined onstage by eight Ohio State Department of Dance students for Double Octet.
