Arthur E. Baggs Memorial Library
This library, housed within the Department of Art's ceramics area, is a study collection of books, objects, tools, glaze notebooks as well as many test tiles, primarily pertaining to the studio art movement in 20th-century ceramics.
Aviation Artwork Collection at The Ohio State University Airport
The Ohio State University Airport is home to an impressive gallery of aviation and aerospace artwork, located on the second floor of the Austin E. Knowlton Executive Terminal & Aviation Learning Center.
Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum
The Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum houses the world’s largest collection of materials related to cartoons and comics, including original art, books, magazines, journals, comic books, archival materials and newspaper comic strip pages and clippings.
Center for Epigraphical and Paleographical Studies
The center offers a unique research facility within the Department of Classics which includes a large collection of squeezes, photographs and books.
Center for Folklore Studies Folklore Archives
With contributions from students, faculty, and independent researchers spanning over 60 years, The Folklore Archives contain extensive digital and physical collections of Ohio folksongs and music, local and Midwest folk narratives, oral history, folk customs, beliefs and practices, and documentation of material culture.
Frank W. Hale Jr. Black Cultural Center Art Collection
One of the largest Black art collections in the United States and recognized by the Association of Black Culture Centers as one of the top five in the country, the Hale Center's artwork illustrates the Black experience through nationally recognized artists. A selection of artwork can be viewed on the first floor of Hale Hall.
Hilander Research Library
Hilandar Research Library has the world’s largest collection of medieval Slavic Cyrillic manuscripts on microform.
Historic Costume & Textiles Collection
The Historic Costume & Textiles Collection is a scholarly and artistic resource of apparel and textile material culture. The 11,500+ holdings encompass a range of three-dimensional objects such as textiles and articles of clothing and accessories for men, women and children, including national dress costume from the mid-18th century to contemporary 21st-century designers.
Jack Nicklaus Museum
The Jack Nicklaus Museum, located in the heart of The Ohio State University sports complex in Jack's hometown of Columbus, Ohio, is a 12,000-square-foot educational and historical facility dedicated to the history of golf and one of its greatest practitioners.
John Glenn Archives
Prior to his retirement from the United States Senate in January 1999, John H. Glenn (Democrat-Ohio, 1975-1999) donated his papers and memorabilia to The Ohio State University in conjunction with the formation at the university of the John Glenn Institute for Public Service and Public Policy (now the John Glenn College of Public Affairs).
Kawsay Ukhunchay: Andean and Amazonian Indigenous Art and Cultural Artifacts Research Collection
The collection of Andean and Amazonian cultural artifacts was acquired by the Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS) in autumn of 2015 through a series of donations and purchases.
Knowlton School
Knowlton Hall houses the impressive Knowlton School Speakers Gallery and other artwork in the lobby and the Historic Furniture Collection in the Architecture Library.

Medical Heritage Center
Founded in 1997, the Medical Heritage Center (MHC) is the special collections of the Health Sciences Library at The Ohio State University. The center’s holdings include rare books, archives and medical artifacts.
Museum of Biological Diversity
The millions of specimens in the Museum of Biological Diversity help us understand the history and future of biodiversity. It houses eight natural history collections and three labs at the museum.

Orton Geological Museum
The Orton Geological Museum is in Orton Hall on the South Oval of The Ohio State University, in Columbus, Ohio. Explore rocks, minerals and fossils from Ohio, from around the world and from outer space.
Orton Memorial Library of Geology
In addition to over 200,000 geologic and topographic maps of the United States and the world, the library houses an impressive collection of artwork, primarily paintings from the 1800s and 1900s.

Rare Books and Manuscripts Library
The Rare Books and Manuscripts Library (RBML) collects, preserves and provides access to literary and historical published works and archival material, from medieval and Renaissance manuscripts to contemporary novels and zines.
The Lawrence and Lee Theatre Research Institute
The Lawrence and Lee Theatre Research Institute acquires, preserves and makes accessible materials documenting the performing arts for scholarship, education and enjoyment.
The Ohio State Faculty Club, Inc.
The Faculty Club houses an impressive permanent collection on view throughout its spaces in addition to its rotating gallery spaces.
Thompson Library
In addition to an extensive collection of books and other educational resources, Thompson Library is home to a gallery of portraits of past university presidents and a rotating exhibition gallery.
University Archives
Since 1965, The Ohio State University Archives has served as the official memory of The Ohio State University. With more than 30,000 cubic feet of manuscripts materials and approximately two million images, the University Archives provides access to original documents, photographs and objects to create their own interpretation of The Ohio State University history.
Other Exhibition Venues
Knowlton School of Architecture - The Banvard Gallery is dedicated to thought-provoking exhibitions with particular relevance to the disciplines of architecture, landscape architecture and city and regional planning. In the spirit of the broad reach of these professions, this includes sculpture, photography and site-specific art in addition to professional work, materials and technology and contemporary practice.
Located in the heart of The Ohio State University campus, Hopkins Hall Gallery highlights the work of students, faculty, staff and other campus initiatives that generate collaboration, conversation, and artistic growth.
The Thompson Library Gallery is a centrally located exhibit space where Special Collections Curators, Area and Subject Librarians, and Faculty curate exhibitions featuring materials from the University Libraries’ Special Collections and beyond. With a primary focus on highlighting the research and expertise of the curators, each exhibition offers a glimpse into the unique and diverse collections held by University Libraries.
Urban Arts Space, located downtown in the Lazarus Building, facilitates experimental galleries that adapt to the dynamic needs of Ohio State's arts curriculum and communities served.
The Wexner Center is The Ohio State University’s multidisciplinary laboratory for contemporary art and culture. Through exhibitions, performances, screenings, educational programs, artist residencies, and publications, the Wex serves as a vital forum where artists test ideas and where diverse audiences engage the art and issues of our time.
Regional Campuses
Rotating exhibition space located in Reed Hall at The Ohio State University at Lima. The gallery is free and open to the public.
Funded by a gift from the John and Pearl Conard Foundation, the Pearl Conard Art Gallery at The Ohio State University at Mansfield hosts an exciting series of exhibitions each year. The gallery is located in Ovalwood Hall Room 156.
The Wayne and Geraldine Kuhn Fine Arts Gallery serves The Ohio State University at Marion students, faculty and staff and the Marion community. The gallery is located off the main lobby at the east entrance of Morrill Hall. The gallery is free and open to the public.
The Ohio State University at Newark campus is filled with public art in the form of 18 life-size bronze sculptures, most of which have been generously donated by J. Gilbert and Louella H. Reese, through their Thomas J. Evans Foundation.
