Mimi Onuoha

Mimi Ọnụọha is a Nigerian-American artist whose work questions and exposes the contradictory logics of technological progress and has been featured at, among other venues, the Whitney Museum of Art, the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art and Gropius Bau in Berlin. From August 22 through October 27, 2025, a survey of her recent work, What Is Missing Is Still There, will appear across Columbus, at The Wexner Center for the Arts, The Columbus Museum of Art, The Ohio State University campus, and Orange Barrel Media screens throughout the city. During her residency, on Oct. 9, she will debut excerpts from her new film, Ground Truths, as part of a conversation at The Wexner Center for the Arts with Dr. Simone Browne.
