The Willow Weeps for Me, curated by Cinéseries member Sarra Negassi, highlights groundbreaking short films that explore the intersections of Black womanhood across several decades. Each film creates an intimate portrait of human connection, including Zeinabu irene Davis’s charming tale of diasporic longing, Crocodile Conspiracy. Bringing together multiple genres, this program invites audiences to inquire and converse on the past, present, and future of Black women. (program approx. 90 mins., digital video)
