Explore exhibitions including Wex-commissioned works and room-sized installations by Vitória Cribb, Ximena Garrido-Lecca, Hew Locke, Eric N. Mack, and Naeem Mohaiemen. In addition to the presentations in the galleries, the artists and curators will share details about the materials, research, and meaning behind the work in person. Throughout the evening, you’ll encounter key themes to consider, including memory, history, identity, symbols of authority, and the contrasts between traditional and industrial agricultural practices.

The reception begins at 4 PM. At 5:30 PM, everyone is invited to the Film/Video Theater for an engaging conversation with Garrido-Lecca; Mohaiemen; and Martina Droth, who is the curator for Hew Locke’s exhibition and the Yale Center for British Art’s Paul Mellon director. Wex curator Rebecca Lowery will moderate the talk. The exhibitions will be open until 9 PM, and you can extend your evening at the Wex with performances by legendary jazz pianist Kenny Barron and his trioat 7 PM and 9 PM. As part of the event, Wexner Center members enjoy 30% off purchases at the store.
