During this workshop, you will make your own personalized cookbook by exploring, selecting and compiling historical recipes from the Rare Books & Manuscripts Library’s cookbook collections.
This event is held in conjunction with the exhibit, “Essential Ingredients: Cookbooks as History,” located in the Thompson Library Gallery (room 125) from Aug. 20, 2024 – Jan. 5, 2025. Exhibit curators Jolie Braun and Elizabeth Hewitt will lead the workshop and chat about cookbooks and insights from the exhibit.
