Liz Cambron is a filmmaker, storyteller, and writer whose work interrogates the difference between fiction and non-fiction and is rooted in a queer intersectional feminist practice. A video maker and educator born and raised in the Midwest, her moving image work is a tool to dissect, inspect, and shape social interactions and power structures. Cambron joined the Department of Theatre, Film, and Media Arts as visiting assistant professor in 2024. Join the student organization Cinéseries for this screening of Cambron’s films.

Cinéseries is a student-led group that organizes monthly screenings in collaboration with the Wexner Center for the Arts. We aim to offer a space for students and the community to engage with film and expanded cinema from makers from a variety of backgrounds. We aspire to create an environment conducive to critical engagement by inviting filmmakers to showcase work that takes risks, challenges norms, and opens a conversation by devoting to a wide range of artist-centered and independent media.
