Their mission is to improve sediment management through design research, building public knowledge, and facilitating transdisciplinary conversation.

Dredge Research Collaborative publications include Silt Sand Slurry: Dredging, Sediment, and the Worlds We Are Making.

Current members include Sean Burkholder, Brian Davis, Rob Holmes, Justine Holzman, Brett Milligan, and Gena Wirth.


The Baumer Series invites prominent researchers and practitioners of architecture, landscape architecture, and city and regional planning to present their work and to engage subjects both topical and enduring.
