Nina Angela Mercer

Nina Angela Mercer, PhD is a multidisciplinary artist and cultural worker whose works for theatre and performance have been presented at such venues as National Black Theatre, Abrons Arts Center, and the Nuyorican Poets Café. Her solo performance project, Mirrors, will be developed, in part, at Ohio State University in September 2026 with a culminating workshop performance in February 2027. She will engage students in African American Studies and Hip-Hop Studies throughout the creative process.
