Fragmented Shadows brings attention to untold stories of the personal, ancestral, and societal invisible wounds that imprint on our bodies and shape our well-being in seen and unseen ways. Supported by epigenetic and psychosomatic research, the three performers trace an inner, abstract, and visual journey into the body, weaving a tapestry of memories. In Fragmented Shadows dance becomes a practice of healing and release, transforming the body into a site of liberation and creating a powerful visual and emotional landscape. An internationally renowned choreographer, Kamuyu has collaborated with other notable artists featured at the Wexner Center including Bill T. Jones and Julie Taymor, among others. (program approx. 55 mins.)
