Unzipped follows then-rising fashion design superstar Isaac Mizrahi in the lead up to the debut of his 1994 fall collection. The documentary serves as both a behind-the-scenes look at the New York fashion world—with the likes of Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, and Naomi Campbell popping up—and a portrait of an artist trying to find inspiration while coping with self-doubt before the biggest moment of his career.
