Cartoon Crossroads Columbus
Set in New Orleans during the 1920s, the charming musical The Princess and the Frog follows Tiana, a hardworking waitress who dreams of owning her own restaurant. She meets a handsome prince who has been turned into a frog by a local witch doctor, but a kiss meant to turn the frog back into a prince instead turns Tiana into a frog as well. Musker and Clements returned to Disney to make the film, the studio’s first traditionally animated film after five years of digitally produced features. (97 mins., 2K DCP)
