Drunken Noodles (Lucio Castro, 2025)
Columbus Premiere
This delightful new film by queer Argentine auteur Lucio Castro (End of the Century) tells five chapters in the magical and erotic sex life of a New York art student.
Film/Video Theater
Drunken Noodles begins as a charming look at everyday gay life, from urban dating rituals to monogamy anxieties during a cabin weekend. But as the nonlinear chapters in the main character Adnan’s (played by the captivating Laith Khalifeh) story accumulate, an erotic, mythic surreality begins to appear. This modest but beautiful film features a rarity in modern independent film: a humane horniness full of beauty and mystery. A true gem! In English and Spanish with English subtitles. (82 mins., DCP)

"Humorous and horny in equal measure."
