2008 Lawrence and Isabel Barnett Symposium
Artists and Creative Enterprise in Columbus

in the historic Lazarus building
Hosted by The Ohio State University College of the Arts, Department of Art Education and Graduate Program in Arts Policy and Administration.
The 2008 Barnett Symposium will examine:
- the career pipeline for arts professionals in Columbus
- examples of arts enterprises in development
- the dynamics of the creative work environment
Also, learn about higher education programs in visual, media and performing arts that offer courses in business skills, entrepreneurship and professional practices for BFA and MFA students.
Through guest presentations and panel discussions, the 2008 Barnett Symposium will examine how initiatives concerning artists and creative enterprise affect the local creative economy.
