| OSU Reunion Weekend Friday, Sept 1 – Saturday, Sept 2, 2006 The whole OSU community will be celebrating on Labor Day Weekend 2006, with the first annual “OSU Reunion Weekend.” On Friday, Sept. 1 alumni from classes of 1956, ’66, ’76, ’86, ’96 and 2001 are invited to a reunion, starting with a campus-wide luncheon hosted by OSU President Karen Holbrook and Alumni Association President Archie Griffin. Following the luncheon and campus walking tours, the Colleges of the Arts and Sciences will host a showcase in Sullivant Hall Auditorium and a reception with the deans of all five colleges. On Saturday, Sept 2, the Colleges of the Arts and Sciences hosts its 3rd annual Alumni Tailgate Party on the historic university Oval prior to the OSU vs. Northern Illinois football game. All alumni are invited to this popular event, which features food, entertainment, fun and friends plus a huge silent auction that benefits student scholarships.
