Specific pieces on the program include:
• An untitled work by dance faculty member Melanie Bales; a contemporary piece with 11 dancers set to seven piano pieces by Chopin and Satie.
• Lachrymae, by Rosalind Pierson, originally premiered at OSU in 2001, set to Fauré’s solemn Requiem.
• Two new pieces by Susan Hadley, which also are featured in Drums Downtown II—Drumtalker and Pieces of Wood.
• Inlets 2 by Merce Cunningham, reconstructed by Karen Eliot for seven dancers to a score by John Cage played live on conch shells.
• Bebe Miller’s The Blues Project, a revision of her acclaimed 1991 work commissioned by the Wexner Center.
