Lora Gingerich Dobos

Areas of Expertise
• Music theory
Professor Dobos taught at Southern Methodist University before coming
to OSU, where she now teaches undergraduate and graduate theory and analysis
courses. Her publications include articles and reviews in MUSIC THEORY
SPECTRUM, JOURNAL OF MUSIC THEORY PEDAGOGY, INTEGRAL, and IN THEORY ONLY.
Dr. Dobos has served on the nominations committee for the Society for
Music Theory, the publications committee for the College of Music Society
and the editorial board of College Music Symposium.
