Abigail Yager
Abigail Yager was a member of the Trisha Brown Company and has danced with Donna Uchizono, Sungsoo Ahn, Emma Diamond, and JoAnna Mendl Shaw among others. She directed the Set and Reset/Reset projects at the Taipei National University of the Arts and at the Five College Dance Department and has assisted several restagings of Ms. Brown's choreography including, Newark (Niweweorce) on the Lyon Opera Ballet and L'Orfee at La Monnaie National Opera of Belgium. Professor Yager is the founder and director of the Chin Lin/American Dance Festival Scholarship Program. She has served as guest faculty at Taipei National University of the Arts, Korean National University of Arts, and P.A.R.T.S., and is a returning member of the faculty at the American Dance Festival. Greatly influenced by her studies of Klein Technique, Yoga, Alexander Technique, and Qi Gong, Professor Yager draws on elements from each to inform her practice.
