DAVID COVEY (Professor) received
his M.A. in Dance Production from The Ohio State University in 1984.
Covey serves as Production Coordinator for the department and teaches
dance lighting, production and composition. His research interests
include lighting, choreographing and various aspects of visual arts. He
remains active in the field, working with a number of artists and companies.
He received a BESSIE award for lighting BAM Events choreographed by
Merce Cunningham in 1998.
