Rebecca Harvey is an assistant professor in the Department of Art's Ceramics
program. Classes taught include ceramic history and wheel throwing. Currently
continuing research into the subliminal uses of the decorative arts, she
spent last summer in Dresden in a formerly communist porcelain factory
working with industrial molds (GCAC grant) Recent publications include
AMERICAN CRAFT, STUDIO POTTER, and the NCECA JOURNAL. Upcoming exhibitions
include National Ceramics Invitational 2000 at Texas A&M University,
Bistro 1615 in Santa Fe New Mexico, The Society of Arts And Crafts in
Boston Mass, the Signature Gallery in Atlanta Georgia, Pewabic Pottery
in Detroit Michigan and Heim & Handwerk in Munich, Germany.
