School of Music
A distinguished faculty in the School of Music attracts
many of Ohio State’s brightest students to campus. Widely recognized
performers, composers, scholars, researchers and master teachers form
the core of this highly ranked school. Areas of study are performance,
theory and composition, musicology and ethnomusicology, education, and
cognition. In addition to its comprehensive curricula for majors, the
school serves hundreds of university-wide students through its marching
band and performance programs.
